TERMS & CONDITIONS
In these terms and conditions wherever the word photographer appears it refers to Craig Howes trading as Craig Howes Photography. Customer refers to the person/persons work is being undertaken for and this will appear on any communications sent by the photographer i.e. invoices, confirmation emails, and letters.
Payment terms -
Deposit - A non refundable 10% deposit is required for all wedding bookings. This deposit will be taken off the final invoice for the package selected. Deposits are to be made on the initial booking of the photographer. The deposit acts as securing the photographer for the specific date agreed.
Payment - The full balance of the package is to be paid five working days before the wedding date or within 30 days of receiving the invoice for all other services provided. Under no circumstances will photos be delivered until full payment is received.
Chasing payment: The photographer has the right to chase for payment and invoices must be settled within 30 days. Payments made after the 30 days are subject to late payment interest of 8% plus the Bank Of England base rate.
Payments accepted - Cash & BACS transfer.
The customer may cancel at any point in the contract by providing written notice to the photographer. Cancellations made 12 weeks or less before the wedding date will be charged in full. In the event that the photographer needs to cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances then an alternative photographer will be sourced. In the unlikely event that a replacement can't be found then a full refund will be provided.
The length of coverage will be agreed between the customer and the photographer before any work is undertaken. The photographer will work with officials of the church, registry office, or venue to ensure all angles are covered however can't be held responsible for restrictions placed on them by said officials.
Copyright of photographs remains the photographers even after photographs have been delivered to the customer. Unless already agreed between the customer and the photographer, reproduction of photos are strictly prohibited.
The photographer will endeavour to fulfil all photographs requested depending on weather conditions. If conditions aren't ideal then the photographer will work with the customer to use the most of indoor space to cover the event. The photographer will work their best to tell the story of the event but can't be held responsible for a lack of outdoor photographs due to unforeseen weather conditions.
Use of photographs -
The photographer will ask for the customers express permission to use the photographs provided in future advertising, social media, and portfolio to attract new business.
These terms and conditions form part of the agreement between the customer and the photographer. The terms come into effect once a booking has been made with the photographer. By booking the photographer it indicates that you have read, understood, and agreed to the above terms.
